Not sure what to say?

Brother George - The family misses you but know that you are in a good place. You lived life to the fullest from Griswold, IA to Omaha, NE, to Berkeley, CA, to Redding, CA to Deloit, IA, and back to Redding. You considered the ministrey in the Methodist Church but said you never quite got the calling. You loved music and recorded with RCA (Loading Zone) and Vintage (Bad Daddy). You had a great career in radio - first as a music D.J. and then bringing some thoughtfullness to talk radio. I...

I am sorry for being so late with this. I would like to say to Anne that I am so very sorry about George's passing. I know you are hurting and lost right now, but with the LORD'S blessings, you will get through this. I am here for you. Let's get together. Please call me. I have lost your phone number.
LORD BLESS YOU! ! ! ! XOXOXO
LOVE ALWAYS,
Marcella Gordon

It's very sad to learn of George Newcom's death. I did not know him very well and did not have the chance to work with him, but each encounter I had with him was positive. I can see what others say about his personality and how he treated everyone well. We were competitors and we share the same first name. On a few occasions when I would place a call on a news story and identfy myself, people actually thought it was George Newcom calling. I would sometimes feel that I was delivering...

I want to thank all of you for your kind and warm comments about George. He was indeed a loving and gentle soul, and 42 years of marriage wasn't near long enough with him--"Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be" will not be for me, and my heart is broken--but I am so thankful for the time I did have with George, and I thank all of you for loving him too.

The Nuke was one of my favorite people on the planet. George had a infectious spirit that touched and inspired so many around him.

I can't start to count the memories over the years but I can tell you what, it was all good stuff.

I am going to miss you brother.

Anne,
George was a gentle soul and he was a wonderful man. He was always so kind to me and I shall miss. You and your family have my deepest sympathy and prayers.

I only met you twice, and am so glad I had the opportunity to do so. You have a wonderful family who loves and misses you very much.
