Apologies for this being so late. I worked for "Juddy" in three separate divisions. Best captain I ever worked for. He took good care of all who worked for him. R.I.P. Captain.

To the family of George "Juddy"Nielsen I was honored to be selected as one of the first deputy´s assigned to the SAY program (Sheriff Assisting Youth). At that time(early 70´s) this program was extremely unique and forward thinking. During this same time members of the" SAY program" were afforded the opportunity to pursue graduate education at Westminster College where a new graduate degree could be earned in education. How sad to see the passing of " juddy" my old. friend from the Sheriff's office. Memories too numerous to mention, but in particular his hiring of the first Deputy with a college degree at that time. His subsequent efforts thereafter resulted in effectively moving the department to a higher level of professionalism for all of us. My sincere condolences to his family. God Bless.
