NOBLE GEORGE On July 10, 2023, George Noble passed away at the home of his son. George was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 20, 1930 to Irish immigrants, James and Grace (nee Rankin) Noble. During the Korean War, George served in the Army as a medic. It was during this time he met his wife Fay Smith. They married in Anniston, AL in June, 1954. They had two sons. Gary (Donna Francis) and Keith (Linda Reed) Noble and lived in Woodcrest and Cherry Hill, NJ. In 2018 they moved to Las Vegas, NV to live in the home of Keith and Linda. George worked over 50 years in the pressroom for local newspapers including the Courier-Post and the Philadelphia Inquirer, retiring as a pressroom foreman. George is survived by his wife and two sons and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of George's Life will be scheduled near New Jersey at a future date. Friends and family are invited to Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV on Friday, July 21, 2023 for Visitation from 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. followed by a Service from 5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. A reception will follow.
