Not sure what to say?

Dear Carolyn, Larry, Mark, Kenny, and Carol, (I had submitted my memories of Uncle George last week but for some reason it did not appear in the Guest Book so I will try to re-create it here, once again)
I am sorry I could not physically be there in Texas but my thoughts are with you during this difficult time. My fondest memory of Uncle George is the commitment he had to building a strong sense of family despite the distance that was often between us. His travels took you all to many...

With my deepest sympathy,Over the years George was a dear friend to Al and I.
I was in Alasska and just returned home and had the e mail. Sorry.
Love, Norma McNair

Carolyn and Family,
With my deepest sympathy and with fond memories of many past years
Mimi Hamel

Carolyn and Family:

We were sorry to receive the sad news of George's passing from Mimi. We remember the last visit with George and you at Mimi and Jack's home. We are now so glad we made the trip from our vacation in Maine to see you both. Bob will be writing to you to remember some of growing up with George (as a cousin mentor) Take care.

Love, George (Bob) and Jean

My deepest synpathy to you. No doubt he will be missed by all who knew him.
What a fine man. I have so many fond memories of our association dating back to 1966. All I can say is what a nice way to be remembered. May God bless.

Carolyn and kids: I'm deeply saddened to hear of Mr. Norman's death. I had just heard a few weeks ago that he was ill. I will never forget him -- and as you can see, probably will never be able to call him "George." He was always Mr. Norman to me! I regret I could not attend this great man's farewell. He was ALWAYS fair and pleasant and I'll never forget the tough time he helped me through. I always enjoyed corresponding with you at Christmas and catching up on our busy lives. God...

I owe my 32 year career with AAFES to George. It was he (AAFES George), who, at the request of Al Millen, Philippines Dairy Manager, called his cousin George Norman (my George) at the University of Connecticut Creamery so many years ago in 1969 to search for an assistant manager for the Philippines Dairy. My George recommended me to AAFES George, and I went to Dallas to interview for the job. Ten days after graduation I was on the way to the Philippines and a long and happy career with AAFES....

I met George in the 70's at AAFES HQ. I was just an assistant food buyer but he was like a mentor to me and a good friend.I know he will be missed.
