Not sure what to say?

I wish I had more opportunity to get to know my great uncle George. I will always remember serving him wine at dinner, and he asked for just a tiny bit so he could savour and enjoy the taste. I like to think that that's how he enjoyed life - appreciating and savouring the good moments.

He and his brother Dick had a great time recalling their childhood antics in Vancouver, getting in trouble with the CB radio and all!

May he rest in peace.

George always had a smile when you spoke with him that was effortless and genuine. His kind and gentle spirit will be missed but not forgotten.

I will miss grandpa George, he was so happy and kind. He loved all animals, a wonderful person to know!
love,
Tracy

One of the most wonderful men I've ever known. He loved his Gladys so much. Such a truly good person. His kindness, humor, and incredible intellect even at 91!! Missing you already, George.
love,
Susie

Great and loving man, husband, father and amazing grandfather. He will be missed.

I first met George when my parents bought his condo at Club 1201. Later, my dad and he were tablemates at Rosewood Park. My father often said of George that he was one of the most genuinely nice and kind people that he had ever met. And one thing that hasn't been mentioned here is that he had a darling sense of humor and a great smile. My dad passed on May 28 and I know he was at Heaven's door waiting to welcome George home at last. His sweet spirit will not be forgotten. Blessings to you.

Please accept my deepest Condolences there are no words powerful enough to express sorrow for your loss. It is not often we hear of someone living a life so long and full as the Psalmist said "with special mightiness". May your memories bring you joy while you are sustained by the God of comfort in this time of distress.

I enjoyed the times on the golf course with George and the social occasions with him and his family. He will be missed.

When I was at Rosewood visiting my parents, Bill and Bernice Renner, I enjoyed my visits with George, too.

George was such a gentleman and had such a kindly spirit.

My parents loved and admired George very much. He will be greatly missed.

May God bless your family, and may he grant you peace of heart at this hard time.

Sincerely,
Nancy Hursh
