In 1979 Gilbert and Françoise Clouet and Jean Claude and Pierrette Lecoq spent one year in Georges Olah research team.
They enjoyed the high spirit of Georges Olah and kept always this period of their life in mind. Gilbert and Françoise died in 1993 in a plane crash in India. Pierrette Lecoq died in 2010 from a heart attack.
I would like to tell to Georges family how I share their sadness and give them my deep condolences.

We will always remember George Olah and how down to earth this giant of a thinker treated others at USC and elsewhere I always took new chemistry librarians to meet him, and he always took time to welcome us into his office and visit with us. He will be missed by many. After working for him and with him for over 27 years, I will miss him a great deal.

We are very thankful to Mr. Olah for his research and contributions to the science world. Please know that God assures us that all of mankind will soon be in perfect health and live in a peaceful world with nothing but righteous people to populate it. (Isaiah 35:5,6;Psalms 37:10,11,29) I'm sure Mr. Olah would love to be a part of such a society.
