Anne and I join George's classmates and friends from Earlham College in extending our deepest sympathy to members of George's family and his friends for this loss. We celebrate our friendship over the years, and we were pleased that he could join us for the 45th reunion of the class of 1959 last fall.

To the Olson Family, One of George's last realtor "jobs" was to sell our house last month and as usual he did it well. George was a lifetime friend of both my brother and I. May you rest in peace, George, and our condolences to his family. John and Donna Roehr

Learning of George's death saddened me greatly because he was an institution unto himself--a good one! I had just started work in the Earlham admissions office when the "gang from Glenbrook" hit the campus. Ole was the biggest, hardest working guy, ever sent down to the college to play football from the Chicago area. And,I know of no one--even to this day, who could say an unkind word about him. He will be missed! You have my deepest sympathy.

George was my friend for 25 years. We first met at a LOC golf outing--golf outings we had twice a year...loaded with fun, camaraderie and some competition. Our golf sessions at Green Lake will be in my memory forever, as will the Christmas lunches at Palm Court. When I had a tough real estate problem, George was always willing to share his skill and wisdom. His help meant alot to me. I will miss him--all of us will. Goodbye, my courageous friend. MJG
