GEORGE EVERETT OVERMAN Jr.

OVERMAN, GEORGE EVERETT, JR. Of Burton, age 74, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor. Per George's wishes there will be no viewing or service. He will be buried at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at a later date. George serviced his country eleven years in the U.S. Army, with two tours of duty in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Dotson) of 53 years; his son, Jeff (Andrea) Overman; grandson, Andrew (Courtney); granddaughter, Riley; sister, Joann Brookshire; sisters-in-law, Dana (Ken) Proffer and Susie Perrine; brother-in-law, Art (Janet) Dotson; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. George was preceded in death by his parents, George Sr. and Sarah (Adams) Overman and his brother-in-law, Rex Brookshire.
