George K. Papadakis, of Fort Worth, Texas, was born on September 12, 1961 in Athens, Greece, to the late Bea Papadakis and Konstantinos Papadakis. George was the beloved husband of Christy Papadakis. He passed away at age 56 on August 28, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. He grew up in Minnesota and moved to Texas. He was a Transmission Tech. He is survived by his stepson, R.E. Dodson III; stepdaughters Chasity Dodson and Darby Romines; son-in-law Tracy Romines; sister, Effie Patterson and nephew, Marc Evan,; brother Peter Papadakis; sister-in-law Renell Papadakis; Uncle Andreas and additional family. He also leaves behind his dog, Phoenix. There will be a Celebration of Life on October 20, 2018 at 12:00 in our home. Please email [email protected] for the address.

Wow.. I just found out about this about a week ago. I had the pleasure of meeting George through my family. He was a great guy, fun to be around and always so nice. I am sorry for the loss of this great man and heaven truly gained an angel. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

George was such a kind soul... I met him through the bodybuilding world. Always saying hi, always asking about my training and shows. Then I noticed george got married. He was so awesomely happy... he found his soulmate and expressed to me how much love he had for christy.. my heart breaks for her, but he's always with US... may he RIH till we meet at the gym again my friend!!!❤
