George, it has been years since your passing but you will never be forgotten. I always think of the times when we would talk and catch up on campus and at the ROTC events that we had. Those memories are so fresh in my mind as if it were yesterday. I appreciate the friendship we had and also the person you were. Always positive and a kind individual. I thank you for your sacrifice and please know that you will never be forgotten. Rest in peace dear friend. You are always in our minds and hearts.

Please accept my remembrance of George on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

Just dropping by to say hey luv. You crossed my mind today, as you so often do. I've recently met myself a Marine (chhaoowww) lol and he spoke to me about what it's like being out there and tears just filled my eyes because all I thought of was you. I told him I had an angel up there who just so happened to be a Marine also and he told me there's no other better kind :). I find comfort that you are at rest and I will see you again one day. Have a 2pac song ready for me when I get up there :)....

I'm so proud that George Jitendra Payton was my first cousin. I read his books and messages before he left for Iraq. No one falls if they fight for their country, Jiten has risen up to heaven. May his soul rest in peace in the adobe of God.
