To the Petrie Family...I worked with Dr. Petrie in the OR at Parma Hospital when I was a "new" nurse over 30 years ago. He was a gentleman and a true professional. He treated me with kindness and a funny sense of humor. He delivered my daughter 20 years ago and his concern for my health and well-being was genuine and caring. I just returned from Myrtle Beach to learn of the death of our dear friend and doctor. Dr. Petrie delivered my son 26 years ago and I have also had the pleasure working with him as a nurse at Parma Hospital. He was a very dedicated OB-GYN and pleasant man to work with. He has been missed by the medical community since his retirement and will certainly continue to be missed. May God be with all of you who suffer the great loss of your husband, father, grandfather, uncle, etc.

My deepest sympathy to the Petrie family. Dr Petrie delivered two of my three children. He always took time to answer all questions no matter how mundane they may have been and never rushed through an appointment.He was a very kind person. May he rest in peace.

I didn't really know Dr Petrie. I know Jeff & Erin and the girls. I am truly sorry for your loss. I lost my father 12 years ago (age 61), and it is hard, but time helps. God Bless you all at this time.
