GEORGE PETRILLO

I will always remember the wonderful eulogy George gave at my dad's funeral. He and Joanie were wonderful friends of my parents, Frank and Elaine Soda.

I KNOW how very grateful your Father was for your steadfast help, especially over the past 3 years. Several times we
[your Dad & I] discussed what it is really like to be a 24/7 CareGiver. Not too many people ever "get it" or are willing to sacrifice. It has been YOU & Your Devotion [week after week, mile after mile, meal after meal. prayer after prayer, shower after shower - the laundry. cooking. cleaning] that made it possible for him to keep caring for your Mom as he wanted....

I am home in heaven dear ones
Oh so happy and so bright
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over
Every restless tossing passed
I am now at peace forever
Safely home in heaven at last.

A "TRUE EXCEPTIONAL MAN" I never would have gotten into college without his fantastic efforts. If one person made a difference in my life ---it was him.

Dear Petrillo Family,
I am saddened at the news of George's passing (course it was always Mr. Petrillo for me). During 1960-1964 at PHS, he played an important and meaningful role in helping us figure out our next page in life. Many of us have mostly him to thank for our current success! And he was always there for us with a smile and a kind word. He will always be remembered with fondness, respect and appreciation. We share your sadness at his passing.

Mr. Petrillo was a wonderful, kind, and caring man! One of my fondest memories of this very special man was his exceptional guidance when I was a student at Princeton High School. My deepest condolences to his loving family. May your special memories bring you comfort.

I am so proud to be a part of this family and just want to tell you how much I will miss my wonderful uncle. I have a lot of fond memories of him and you throughout my childhood. I got closer to him the past few years after realizing his true love for animals. He was the best dog owner I know and gave an unwanted dog the life he craved and deserved. I am sure he is in Heaven right now reunited with the rest of his family. I love you all and wish only the best for...
