GEORGE R. PIZZONI

The news of George's passing came to me late, which I am sorry for. His sister Rita has been such a dear friend that I would like to have been present for her. I have heard many good stories about George over the years, wish I had known him better.. I only know that what people wrote about George depicts the Pizzoni family.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of George Pizzoni. I met George at our weekly bowling league and was immediately struck but his kindness. As our friendship grew I learned that George had an interesting history and a full approach to life. I don't know that I've ever met anyone as inquisitive as George, he'd always want to learn as much as he could about everything we talked about. And George never failed to ask about how everyone was doing, typically asking as soon as we met....

My condolences to George's family on his passing. I got to know George through our weekly bowling league, but our friendship went beyond that. One thing that struck me about George was his willingness to learn, he seemed always to want to know more.... and loved to share a story.... Im going to miss his never ending kindness. He'll remain in me a one of a kind gentleman. Tom

Phenomenal man who was reserved in the most appropriate way. Always made it a point to ask how others were doing and asked about events going on in their lives. A tremendous man that I learned a great deal from about how to be a man. He will certainly be missed.

The world is full of loud, braggarts who know little but spread their lack of knowledge to everyone within earshot. My cousin George was that special quiet and reserved person who knows a great deal but brags not at all. The world needs more George Pizzoni's George served his country as a military man and a civilian. With George, concern for family came first. No visit or conversation went by when he didn't ask first about my family. I learned from George and I miss him.
