Not sure what to say?

What a loss to the community and to the legal profession. I was a fledgling legal secretary when I first met Mr. Porter, while working for the Honorable Kenneth G. Ziebarth, Jr. (before his appointment to the bench). They really don't make 'em like him anymore!

My deepest sympathy to Mr. Porter's family and friends. George Porter gave me my first job in 1967 as a trainee legal secretary when I told him I wanted to be the next Della Street! Here it is 41 years later and I'm still a free lance paralegal. What a wonderful person and mentor. The legal community will miss him.

Friend, neighbor and fellow Rotarian.

On behalf of all the staff at Heritage Gardens, we would like to express our sincerest condolences to George's family. He was a fine man, and it was an honor to know and serve him. Our thoughts are with you, and we will always have a warm place in our hearts for George. Even in his later years, he was the consumate gentleman. We loved him very much and will miss him greatly.
