Not sure what to say?

Dear Carolyn,
I continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. I am so glad we had some time the past two years to get reaquainted. I will miss Tom when you come to visit. I feel like I had known him all these intervening years since your wedding.
Love, Jo Libby

One of greatest joys of life is friendship and I am glad that Tom was a friend of mine for more than thirty years. His winsome spirit and contagious smile were known to all who knew him. God's Word in Acts 13:36 says "And David after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep. . . " And likewise Tom Potter. He will be missed by all of us who called him Friend.

Dear Carolyn - Cindy, Margaret and David, Our hearts go out to you now, with your loss... You are ALL in our thoughts and prayers!

Dear Carolyn and Family: How I treasure the memories of Tom from our college days. It appears that he remained throughout his life the optimistic, enthusiastic, generous, warm-hearted person we all knew and loved at SMU. I know you will miss his presence, but I know also that he has left a lovely, indelible mark on each of you. God bless you all, I will be at Lovers Lane in spirit Wednesday at 2 pm.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

Carolyn, I am so sorry to hear of Tom's untimely death. (He was almost exactly my age). I will always remember Tom as the sweetest, most gentle, big-hearted man in the world, and that love of music! Once when he visited New York, we went to a jazz club and he was clearly in his element. I know all of his loving family will feel his loss keenly. My thoughts and warm wishes are with you.

My deepest sympathy to your family at this time. May he rest in peace.

Carolyn,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
