Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Purdy, Janet, Geoff and Kristin:

I was very sorry to hear of Mr. Purdy's passing and wish you the best during this difficult time. When thinking of Mr. Purdy, I remember how comfortable and fun it was to be around him anytime I came over to the house--after our football games, to play volleyball in the back yard, or to film the highly regarded "Rocky" spoof! Please know that I am thinking of you all and remembering Mr. Purdy as a truly great guy.

With heartfelt condolences and prayers that memories of George will continue to feed your happy spirit - Dave, Jan, Nick and Marissa Novak

We were saddened to hear of your loss. We hope you find some comfort in knowing that when a good man dies, his goodness lives on.

Dear Mrs. Purdy and family,

I was so sorry to hear the news. My families thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I have wonderful memories of the times spent at your home when I was growing up. Mr. Purdy always took great interest in our sports and I will always remember that. I can see him now in the stands videotaping one of our football games. I wish I could be there to pay my respects. Take care and I hope to see you all in the near future.

Dear Ruth,
Please accept my condolences at your loss.
George was one of the "good guys" and will remain so in my memory.
Although it had been many years since we had spoken, when I called him about the fortieth class reunion, he was so friendly and warm it seemed as if we hadn't seen each other for a month instead of since the twentieth class reunion.
I think he always had that quality of putting people at ease.
I am wishing you and your family the best...

Mrs. Purdy and family, may the love of friends and family be a source of comfort to you at this time. I'll always remember George's smiling face each morning as he came into work.
