Not sure what to say?

I´m deeply proud that this man... Found it worth his while to know me. In the end... I think it´s safe to say that we brought some joy into one another´s lives. So, one day, when... I go to some final resting place.. ...if I happen to wake up next to a certain wall with a gate... .. I hope that George is there... ...to vouch for me... ...and show me the ropes on the other side.

I am Kai Lorenzen from Germany and I was a volonteer in Qua Buick from oct. 65 to march 66. I had the very best hospitility in the Qua House at Fairmount Blvd. In so far I am so sorry that I heard right yesterday from Martha Olin (daughter from GaryOlin) that Sabra passeed in spring 2017 and George in fall. Both of them were for me like parents at that time when I was 24. To write this
down gives me little help and hope dear Sabra and dear George to send my thankfull feelings to you they...

George was a prince of a guy. He loved his family and his country--that much we are all certain of. I live in California and was visiting Cleveland when he passed, wish I could have paid my respects. Hadn't seen George since mid 70's, but as a young punk back then, you never forgot the adults who treated you well. I used to visit him in those old houses he converted to offices across from his dealership. Don't know why I stumbled across this notice, but I am both happy and sad I did.

I had the pleasure of working with George for a good portion of my life. I look very fondly back to the days at Qua Buick.. lots of old friends.. lots of good times.. lots of laughs.. and even some bickering from time to time. We were all like a huge family.

Some would say that George walked to the beat of his own drum. Others came right out and said he was a little crazy from time to time. I agree. I wholeheartedly agree! .. and I hope one day people might say the same of me!...

May he Rest In Peace. Our family appreciates his great influence in the Scout. We send our love for George. To his Family! He deserves the honor of resting in Arlington!

I treasure my days and weeks with George during my 7 years with Explorer Post 1. He was such a magnificent leader and mentor to the Post members and advisers alike. His generosity and support, often behind the scenes, was remarkable. With the passing of both George and Sabra, the red brick house is a lonely place.

George was a very fine man. I remember talking to him on many occasions about society and things in general. I remember he was a generous man with a heart as big as he was. God speed. Patrolman Patrick Wood #804 CPD

My Love to the George Qua family,

I have very fond recollections of my conversations with George at Plymouth Church prior to my move in 1996. He inspired me and made me think!

George Qua was amazing. He could find you any information that you wanted to know about. And he would not only tell you. He will send you book on it. He was a very kind and passionate man about his family, business and the community. He will be surely missed.
