Pastor George Reynolds

Coach never failed at good advice as a Mentor and Coach, his Sense of Humor also made the long afternoons of Football practice enjoyable during those hot August Afternoons.

Saddened to hear of the passing of fellow alum of Johnson C Smith University, Reverend George Reynolds. May God comfort and give his family strength during this very difficult period, and may George Rest In Peace!

Rev. Dr. George Gable Reynolds, AKA "Daddy" or "Goob" touched allot of people. He was a true leader in his church, fraternity, and community. He was a teacher that loved to help bring the best out of everyone and truly practiced leadership by example. However, he was always humble and down to earth. My deepest sympathy to all of the family, Coach Reynolds was my Biology teacher at MHS and I enjoyed him so much during our time in class. He was a wonderful teacher and it was a joy to be in his class as he made Biology easy for me. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this time of grief. We were so sorry to learn that we had lost our neighbor. Altho we never met Dr. Reynolds personally, we had heard a lot of good things about this family. I was there the day that they moved into their home and Linda gave me a ride home, such a sweet lady. Our daughter Susan Knight lives beside them, Linda calls Susan "her back door neighbor". Chris and I are so very sorry for your loss. We both loved Rev. Dr. Reynolds, we have great memories of him from Morehead High School. We are praying for the family.
