So sorry to read of Gene's passing. We played country music and also worked at the A&P Grocery store together. This was in the late 1960's and early 1970's when he lived in Dixon and his 2 sons were young. He was a good guy and a good friend. RIP Gene.

Ruby and family, I was so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He was my first "Boss" when I was hired at Weissman Steel 26 years ago and was always one of my favorite people. We had some good times chatting over cocktails. Gene was one of the good guys and will be deeply missed by many. Hugs and prayers to you and your family. I will be sure to send a toast up to Gene as well!!

Sorry to hear of Genes passing. We were classmates at Dixon High School. Gene drove the coolest 1962 Chevy Impala. He was a great guy and a lot of fun. Condolences to his family.

So very sorry to hear about Genes passing. He was a good friend and wonderful man...so many good talks and good times at the old Panther Lounge. He was trugly happy when Ruby came into his life. Prayers for your family at this sad time.

We had some fun times together. I remember riding horses with Gene, and when he got the new Corvette. So sorry for your loss Ruby. Take care.
