George was a great guy. I loved discussing back issues with him when I would be out eating my favorite BBQ. I can't pass by the place without thinking of all the great BBQ I devoured there. Miss it so much. Prayers for his family as you face the days ahead.

Mr. George was our friend in the Extension office. He cooked our meals for the Legislators many years. He also was a friend of mine. He cooked for my sons rehearsal dinner in Hartwell and took the food up for me. I'll never forget his contagious smile and always good conversation.

George and I were close friends while he lived in Sumter. He was a reserve Deputy Sheriff while I was a Deputy and he rode with me every weekend. George was with me the night I propose to my wife. RIP my friend! Thanks for the memories.
