I met George for the first time last year at a recognition luncheon given for his sister, Peggy. I was struck immediately by his passion for our community. He expressed much satisfaction that the Lower Saucon Township Historical Society had reorganized with the intent of restoring the schoolhouse and making it a museum once again. George was a past President of the historical society and was instrumental in continuing the publication of the Lookback and the operation of the Lutz-Franklin...
