Not sure what to say?

10/25/03 – Hi Brother George, it’s been a while since I, or should I say son John, sent you an email for me. He will be leaving here tomorrow. You have been gone up to this date 8 months and 5 days. It does not seem possible. Throughout the days, weeks, months, I constantly bring up your name to John – give Gig a buzz, or maybe George would like this, etc. …and he would answer, do you know what you just said? We can’t believe that God has taken you from us.

Hi George,
Easter has come and gone and you were not there with the family. As these Holidays go by it is more difficult. Brother George, we miss you.

Brother George,
Guess what!! Hunna hit the big 80 on April 10. We had a big surprise party at Nick’s Restaurant on April 26 – that’s Clara’s Birthday, just in case you forgot. It really was a surprise; but, George, again you didn’t show up. You were...

Brother George, we always teased about whether St. Patrick was Lebanese. Please ask St. Patrick to give me a sign if he is Irish or Lebanese. I miss you (& Joanzie)...I'm sure we'll be seeing each other.
Love, Sissie.

Dad,I'll miss you very much because you were all we had left after Mom died. But hell big guy we sure gave each other a run for our money. You took care of mom and I when we had nothing and your family showed me what real love and compassion was all about.Thank you for being a true father to me. Love Reilly.

Dear brother George,
This is a very sad time for me…I lost someone who was very close to my heart…my brother. You used to call me and tease me about being Lebanese and whether I had any camel’s to sell. We had some good memories when we were younger. Although I was unable to attend the funeral, my heart is with you. Not attending hurt me terribly. I think on how I was not able to attend your wife Joan’s funeral either; I thank God I have understanding relatives. At times I break...

Papa,
I miss you and love you. I will always have great memories of you and Nana. I speak to you in my prayers and know that I will reunite with you in heaven with the Lord. I am so thankful for having you in my life. I love you and God bless you Papa. Love Amy

Aunt Gail, Uncle Joey, Joseph and James,

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. George was a wonderful, generous man! We will deeply miss him. We are sorry that we weren't able to attend the wake. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Love Always,
Jaime & Rob

GAIL, JOE, JOSEPH AND JAMES,
WORDS CAN NOT EXPRESS THE DEEP SADNESS AND SENSE OF LOSS WE ALL FEEL OVER THE DEATH OF YOUR FATHER AND PAPA. HIS UNDYING LOVE FOR YOUR MOM AS WELL AS HIS DEVOTION AND LOYALTY TO HIS FAMILY IS SUCH AN INSPIRATION. IN HIS HUMILITY I AM CONFIDENT THAT HE IS SMILING DOWN ON ALL OF YOU. HOW NICE TO NOW HAVE TWO SPECIAL ANGELS TO GUIDE AND PROTECT YOU.
WITH LOVE TO YOU ALL,
DONNA, FRANK AND NICK.

Uncle, I will always remember (never forgot) the times that you have blessed my childhood....and formed my manhood. When Mom told me of your passing, my mind immediately raced to my early teen years when you, Dad, Uncle T, Uncle Joe, Uncle Al, cousin Tom and I would go fishing in Boston Harbor. The wonderful childhood memories you gave me are invaluable. You have never left my heart, and will now watch me even closer where you sit. Keep me honest, faithful, and strong so that I will be...
