Remembering you today on your 103rd birthday, sweet Uncle. I will always remember your sense of humor ( It won´t be long now) and your service to our country. Rest in eternal peace. Love, Joanne 8/8/25

George Ross was a very special person. I first remember him when I attended Gorgas Elementry school . George worked for his Father at Ross grocery. George brought Grocerys to our house on his Bicycle. My entire family when I was growing up thought of him as a member of our family. After I got married in 1956 i lived in East Thomas for a SHORT TIME. We continued to buy at Ross Groceries. After both George And I grew up and got older I found out that George Ross was a Person that was really...

We remember George from Ross Grocery Store. He was such a great person. He enjoyed his work and greeted customers with kindness and respect. His family and friends have lost a find person. God has taken him home to rest in peace.

I just want to let you all know how very sorry Jimmy and I are in the passing of Mr. Ross (he always told me to call him George not Mr. Ross). He was so Special and a very Precious Person. We loved him dearly and felt like he was part of the Golden Family. He was so good and kind to our mother, Evie Golden. He called her and checked on her several times a week after she moved to Florence. What a Blessing it was to have known him. He surely will be missed by us! God bless you and know...

Steven and Family:
We will truly miss seeing your dad (George) in church at St. Peter's. His sense of humor was very enjoyable. You and your family are in our prayers. Please let us know what we can do for you.

Sorry for your loss,Iwill miss talking with him.God Bless you!

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Mr. Ross was one of the most generous people I've ever known. What a wonderful person he was. He meant so much to my family.

I have fond memories of your dad and mom when we were growing up on Chickasaw Drive. I am also sadden to learn that Georgiana has passed away. I did not know. My sympathy to all of your family.
