Not sure what to say?

I will never forget the warm welcome, which Blossom and George gave me, when I visited Coronado in August 1984. I was a daughter in law of Prof. Dr. Hartmut Hoffbauer (friends of George)... I still have a big photo-book, where I can see, that me and his sons also sailed together on their boat in Coronado Sailing-Club. It was a wonderful time, they gave me (being 21 years old). Now I am 60 - and a grandma... Thanks for getting known these wonderful persons! With love from Berlin, Marina

This Legacy memory coincidentally popped up here in Scotland as I was helping - as former club president - to prepare for our historic Stonehaven (Fatherland) Burns Club's annual Supper on 25 January 2023. Apart from the advance admin, I have the relatively minor role on the night, of performing the 'Address to a Haggis', which I just love reciting animatedly...........and I know that George did likewise! (Sorry, but I don't seem to be able to add a pic). Much love to all of the Sanger Sept...

Hello! I have a wonderful memory of Dr. Sanger. Although brief, it made a wonderful impression that I would love to share with you. In 1997 I was serving as a US Navy SEAL on the island of Coronado. Through some money that I had saved overseas, I was able to purchase a blue beautiful Cadillac Eldorado from George. It was in perfect condition at the time, and about 25 years old. I asked if I could test drive it, and the two of us went for a drive through Coronado and down to the Coronado...

I worked with Dr Sanger and remember him and Blossum fondly. I have a knife set they gave me as a Xmas gift on my counter..it has traveled from San Diego to Orlando and several homes in Orlando..it has been with me almost as long as my partner Jeff(40 years together)..When we take a knife from it..we remember the Sangers and always wish them well. Its truly a gift that has kept on giving and keeps the memories alive. Ronald E. Stevens OR orderly Coronado Hospital

I regularly pray a short prayer to my dear friend George every time I go out in my own garage! Thinking of all the wood chips that we made fly together. Love to all the Sanger’s. Tom

Still remembered with love from George.

Heartfelt condolences to the Sanger Family for the loss of Dr Sanger. He was truly exceptional and will be sorely missed.

What a wonderful tribute to George! Rick and I feel fortunate and happy to have been welcomed into your home and family. We are blessed to have had those few days to get to know everyone.
As we join you in celebrating George's life, may your memories continue to enrich and sustain you all.
With much love, Rick and Lynda Weber

In the 1960's our family moved to Coronado with The RAF where George and Blossom befriended my parents Harold and Rosemary Kerr - they remained ,even at a distance ,lifelong friends.
The thought of George can only bring a smile to my face, there was always so much fun and happiness in his company.
In the early 70's my friend Frances and I imposed on The Sangers hospitality for several weeks and I have many happy memories of that time .We were not made to feel like guests (or intruders)...
