I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for our famliy during this difficult time. Grandaddy was a wonderful, caring, loving man who touched the heart of everyone who knew him, esp with that beautiful smile. I will always cherish my time with him.
Thank you grandaddy for the wonderful Christian example you set for me and my children. I love you and miss you dearly.

We were sad to hear of the death of our cousin George. He was one of the kindest people ever. Best wishes to Lois and family.

I knew Mr. Saunders for one day while he was a patient at Roanoke Memorial a couple of weeks ago. I'm a nursing student and he was my first patient on 8-south. He was a very sweet, kind man and I had been praying for him since I left the hospital that day that he would have a lot more time to spend with his family before he went to be with the Lord. His plight tugged at my heart, but I feel blessed for having known him for even that short amount of time. To Mr. Saunders's family and...

We have missed George and Lois at Parrish Chapel and we pray that the Lord will carry you all through this sad and difficult time. Lois and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. George will be missed by everyone in the neighborhood. I thought very highly of him. I hope that you find solace and in time will be able to celebrate his life. He was a very good man.
