I knew Mr. Saunders for one day while he was a patient at Roanoke Memorial a couple of weeks ago. I'm a nursing student and he was my first patient on 8-south. He was a very sweet, kind man and I had been praying for him since I left the hospital that day that he would have a lot more time to spend with his family before he went to be with the Lord.
