Read MoreWe send our heartfelt condolences to George's family and friends. We will miss George. In addition to seeing him at the 10:00 service at Christ Church Cathedral he was always at midnight mass on New Years Eve. Afterward everyone would sing Happy Birthday to him, and he would blush.

George served as a board member for Open Pantry when I worked there. He was kind, dedicated to making a difference, and generous. I remember bumping into him once many years later and we had a nice little chat. I am sorry for your loss.
