Schroeder, George J. Of Sussex, WI. Born on April 16, 1946. Passed away peacefully July 4, 2008 at the age of 62. Loving husband of Karen. Dear son-in-law of Florence Olson. Beloved father of Jennifer (Scott) Robertson, Cynthia (James) Purko, Joan (Bob) McElyea, George (Tifany) Schroeder. Proud grandfather of Alison, Gabbi, Elyse, Natalie, Charlie, Megan George, Alexandra and Sylvia. Dear brother of Gordon (Joyce) Schroeder, Phyllis (Otto) Schulenburg, Joan (Richard) Berg, Lois (Ben) Walder. George was preceded in death by his parents George and Anastasia Schroeder, father-in-law Robert Olson and sister Lucille Blank. George was president of Schroeder Bros. Construction Inc., a member of the Metropolitan Builders Association and a member of the Knights of Columbus. George will be missed, but always remembered for his strong will, generosity and dedication to his family and friends. Please join us in the celebration of George's life. Visitation at St. James Catholic Church, W220 N6588 Town Line Rd., Menomonee Falls on Thursday, July 10, 2008, from 3:30 PM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:30 PM. Mrs. Schroeder & Family;We were very sorry to hear of George's death. We've have known him for many years when we had the gas station in Brookfield. He was a very nice man and we always enjoyed talking to him. George and all of you are in our prayers. God Bless

I am so sorry for the loss of your father. Having just lost mine on March 28th, I know what you are going through and the wave of feelings at any given time.
