Not sure what to say?

I am sorry for your loss. I am a graduate of Binghamton and inherited part of his seed collection. The seeds date to 1948 and they continue to be used as a teaching collection.

Brian,
so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. Both your Mom and Dad were great people and treated me so well when we were growing up. Thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.
Chet Gacioch

My condolences on the passing of your father, Professor Schumacher. I worked in the Biology Department office many years ago. I have a small painting he made for me. I treasure it. Dr. Schumacher was a truly kind and sincere gentleman. You must have wonderful memories surrounding you. May God comfort you.

Brian and family, Sorry to hear of your dad's passing. May you find comfort in the many fond memories, you hold near and dear to your heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Family of Prof. Schumacher,
As you already well know, the Prof. was a person dedicated to his work, and it showed in his positive approach to life. I remember his smile, which was evident almost all the time. Keep the nice memories and he will be near you at all times. Our class of 1956 at Harpur was honored by his presence.

I cannot tell you how badly I feel. George was a great man. He had a marvelous sense of humor. He will be sorely missed. I work at Matthews GM, and always looked forward to seeing him. I will miss him.

The staff and volunteers of Meals on Wheels of Western Broome fondly remember George (and Frances), former volunteer and board member. We appreciate the contribution he made to our organization. Our thoughts are with you at this time of loss.

Eric and Brian, I am so very sorry to learn of your loss. I not only grew up with your brother George, but our mothers were very close friends. I was acquainted with your dad here at Binghamton University. I have very fond memories of many heart to heart conversations whenever I ran into him on and off campus. He was a good man and will truly be missed!

Dr.Schumacher was the finest teacher I ever had. Always generous with his time and loved all his students. This is a tremendous loss to this community. May he rest in peace.
