Not sure what to say?

I was just thinking of you yesterday! Reached out to your boys about how you had a "Man Cave" before the term had been created. RIP Big George. Love and miss ya!

Remembering the great times spent together with you and your family. Whether having a meal, watching the Chargers playoff game ( the greatest NFL game ever ) with the boys, playing doubles tennis ( Geo & I vrs Grandpa Schweer and yourself ) or playing baseball/basketball/football in your front yard, it was always a great time. The cheeriness and laughter when Grandma Schweer and Rick were over lit up the house. Miss those days and miss you and Mrs. Schweer. RIP.

Mr. Schweer was my baseball manager back in 1977! He took us Padres all the way to the championship and we were the victors. He was a memorable figure in my life and it was one of the most memorable seasons of my baseball career. I will never forget him and his family. A season of faith's perfection!

I only knew Mr Schweer for the 2 years I worked at Oak Grove MS as a school psychologist. What makes our relationship a bit unusual was that I was a student of his father, Mr. George Schweer way back in 1959-60 at Lewis Jr High in San Diego (Allied Gardens). I have had a special place in my heart for both the father and son Schweer. Rest In Peace, both of you.

I was so sad to hear of Georges' passing. He was truly one of the last of the Good Guys. My sympathies to Cookie, the boys and family. I know he is in heaven, looking down on his family and friends.George may you dwell
in the arms of our Lord and rest in peace, until we meet again.

George will be sorely missed on Rippey Street. His sunny smile and loading golf clubs to and from his car was a nice everyday comfort. He is a model for a great husband and father to all of us.

My mom shared with me the news of Mr. Schweer's passing. I was one of the many siblings in my family as well as many students at Jamul Las Flores who looked up to the coolest teacher on campus! He was always fun, even when he was trying to be stern. I was able to get reacquainted with Mr. Schweer as an adult through a co-worker at the time, Guy Long, along with Mrs. Spilger a Valhalla teacher at a back yard party... what a small world. Mr. Schweer had that child like sneeky deep laugh and I...

Mr. Schweer was kind, affable, caring and considerate. I offer my heart-felt condolences to his nuclear and extended families. Growing up on the same street, the Schweer house was a veritable second home to me as an adolecent and close friend of George IV. I was always treated like a member of the family. I will never forget the consumate patience displayed by Mr. Schweer and his brother Larry as my coaches in my first year of baseball. Although immeasurably difficult, the family...

I was truly saddened by the news that Mr. Schweer had passed away! I will always remember Mr. Schweer as a great teacher of mine! His love of teaching and his sense of humor is something that always makes me smile! I am blessed to have known him and to have had him in my life! May your memories always hold you close!
