Not sure what to say?

I salute the Seignious family. Dan Coberly, Sgt. Maj. USA (Ret) Capt. USAR (Ret)

Prior to coming to work at The Citadel Alumni Office in 1998, I worked from early 1995 to mid-1998 in The Citadel Protocol Office. While there, I had many occasions to participate in events which Gen. Seignious attended. He always was most gracious, pleasant, and a joy to be with. Even though I had not seen him since moving to the Alumni Office, I have fond memories of him.

Mollie and Chip,
It's a sad day for us, as I'm sure
it is for you. General Seignious
was a great man, whom we all loved
very much. He was my friend whom
I have missed very much. Please
take comfort in knowing that others
share your loss. May God be with
you and yours always, and may God
be with a great and honorable man.
Love and God bless....

Obbe - you were not only a great man and a much admired patriot- leader, but a warm and loveable human being. All our Blessings, we will miss you greatly.

Mollie
We are sorry to hear of your dear Dad's passing. I was always touched by your preparations for his visits to Boston and how very special your relationship with him was. You have his grace and style. Lots of love, Carroll and Bob

Chip: What a heritage!! And to think you ARE a "Chip off the old block" on a different agenda. Despite the hurting your friends share with you now, you and your family just has to have a sense of peace and satisfacton in the beauty of his grand finale. You .. and our nation.. get to keep all he ever gave us.
Ole Lady Pooser

My deepest condolensces to the Seignious family for his loss. He returned to The Citadel as President when we arrived for our plebe year, and together we made changes in the institution that continue to strenghten our alma mater.
His guidance and presence was an inspiration for all he touched in his brilliant career.

Mollie,
I just had a long talk with your dad about a month ago, promising to send him photos of our July 4th celebration, which is held every year at my dad's ranch. We lost him in Feburary, so it just wasn't the same. I wish Paul was able to be with your family tomorrow. Know that we would be there for you if at all possible. My prayers are with you and your family. God bless, Ann
