Not sure what to say?

I just learned that George died, and hadn't even known that he was ill. I so wish I had as would loved to have visited with him. I am so very sorry to hear of his death, and I'm sure he met his ghastly illness w/ his usual wry humour and fortitude. Brigitte, I will be in touch and only wish I had known sooner. I feel quite dreadful having missed being able to say good bye to a truly wonderful man.

George was a great mentor to me as I assumed the Presidency of the Massachusetts Retail Lumber Dealers Association. He had great passion for the building supply industry. The industry will miss his steady hand. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Geordie leaves behind a wonderful, remarkable legacy. His affability, intelligence, positive attitude, generosity were just a few of his many wonderful qualities. I consider myself fortunate to be related to him. He was an older cousin, one who was unfailingly kind to his younger cousins.

George was a kind, generous, and friendly man who loved life and lived it well. My thoughts are with the entire Senkler family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. A Wonderful man, he will be missed.

Brigitte and family,
So sorry to hear of this. George was a good friend and a great business man always treating his customers like family. May you and yours be blessed with peace during this untimely event.

My Papa was a wonderful father! Thank you all for your messages. Reading them makes my heart overflow!

Cousin Geordie was a wonderful man, always so warm and genuine. Our family will miss him. Hugs to Brigitte and my cousins.

George was a uniquely authentic gentleman, an example of what we all could and should be. My contacts with him either doing business at Concord Lumber or on the board of the Friends of Great Brook Farm State Park were without exception not only pleasurable, but instructive as well. George showed the rest of us how to live.
