Not sure what to say?

A year has passed since George moved into his heavenly home and he is sorely missed by all who knew him. I consider myself blessed to have had him as my true friend. He was full of wisdom that he used to mentor many of us. God's Speed my friend.

It´s difficult to think that it has been a year since George´s passing into Glory! I remember his family often in prayer for peace and comfort in the knowledge that George is in the very presence of God and with family and friends that have gone before him. George and Anne and I share two beautiful granddaughters, Anna Blake and Samantha, and I remember how passionately he loved them and all of his family!! He is sorely missed!

We are incredibly saddened to hear of your sweet George passing. We can´t imagine what you are going through. Please know that Emily, Jody, and I will be praying for you & your sweet family. Donna

George was a mentor and good friend. I will miss his wit, humor and good nature. Liz will miss his dancing. God bless you Anne and your family. George will be sorely missed. God rest his soul. Rick & Liz

My sympathies and condolences to Ann and the family on George's passing. God Bless...

We have very many happy memories of Howard and especially the BSLU. Thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I had the honor of calling George Shaver my next door neighbor for the majority of my childhood. His daughter, Ashley and I were the same age and attended school together. When you are that age, you don't really understand or have a deep understanding of the people around you like you have when you become an adult. As a child, I just knew that George was always joyful, fun to be around, caring for not only his family but his close neighbors. All that was easy to see.
It wasn't...

George was one of my fondest and most unique friends. We always enjoyed sharing time with him and Anne. He was easy to be around and kept everyone laughing. I always enjoyed how he would stretch out a word when he spoke. George took his last step on this earth doing something he had a dislike yet a passion for (running) but his spirit continued running straight into heaven. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him. God's speed my dear friend.

Ann and Family. We are saddened by the passing of a dear friend and classmate. May God give you comfort for your years together and the love we pass on to you and your loved ones. Love and prayers from Cora and Leroy
