Hon. George A. Sheehy III

I met George Sheehy in1980. He was such an inspirational Man who embodied class and distinction in every way. He always treated me like family. It was an honor to have known him.

My condolences to family and friends of honorable judge Sheehy III. May The Lord continually bless him within the heavenly gates.

The Massachusetts Black Judges Conference offers our sincere condolences to the family. We are deeply appreciative for the life and example of Judge Sheehy. While many of us did not have the privilege of serving with Judge Sheehy we realize that we stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. Judge Sheehy was one of those who paved the way for us.

This gentleman was one of the best appointments to the judicial bench. I remember him as always having a kind word for everyone. Judge Sheehy's decisions were never questioned because they were always based on the law as well as common sense.
My sincere condolences to his family; I know you will miss him greatly.
