Not sure what to say?

Thank you for your inspiration in historic preservation.

Carolyn,
It is with great sorrow I read of Bing's passing. What wonderful memories I have of your wonderful family! You were such a support when we lost our father, husband, and invited us to become part of your wonderful family. The boys will always remember sliding down the fire pole, eating green eggs ad ham for Easter and camping with you on the Gorge trails. Bless you all for enriching our lives!

Dear Carolyn and Family,
Roger and I send our deepest sympathy to all of you. What a blessing Bing was to the city of Portland and all of it's residents. Because of his work Portland is a much better city. We met you in 1965 when Yon and our son, Lenny were in nursery school together at Friendly House. I taught first and second grade in Portland and used the test you created with my students, Carolyn.

So sorry to hear of Bing's passing. I served with Bing on the Vancouver National Historic Reserve Trust board for many years. He was an incredible man. He will be missed.

friends almost from the moment they came to Portland from Denmark our families ,particularly our children felt very close and benefited from knowing this very exceptional family led by this remarkably altruistic ,energetic and talented father and husband.

My deep condolences to the Sheldon family. Bing was an inspiration to generations of city planners for his leadership, mentorship, and remarkable professional career.
