Not sure what to say?

It has been 11 years and we still miss George! Replacing the sorrow are so many fond memories. Vacations together with the entire family chipping in for a rental home, holidays with lots of laughs and George's reliable help with the dishes, his booming laughter and gentle hugs, and knowing he loved us all so much. He truly made more valuable contributions to people and society than anyone else I knew personally. Rest In Peace.

Still missing George 10 years later! He would’ve been so sad about Alex Trebek, Covid, Friends and family members that have passed and the lack of meaningful political discourse and effective and representative leadership. But he would’ve found so much joy in the new family members and friends through birth and marriage that have been added to his circle. George’s friend Yesukhei from Mongolia visited two years ago and that would’ve been a highlight of his summer! George is sorely missed...

George had been a civil rights leader since his 20s. There are so many conversations I would want to have with him now to hear his viewpoint and his incredible knowledge about history, society, and the progress that needs to be made. His relief work and social service advocacy around the globe stressed hospital access for all, modern practices for battling infections and cross agency communication. His thoughts on the pandemic would have been insightful. I know that he wouldve been on the...

After not hearing from George for two years, we now know that our dear friend went to his rest in June this year. We met him when he was a student at Princeton. I was one of his teachers. We often enjoyed his hospitality in Union and Morristown. And he often visited us in Princeton. Once he came to stay with us in England. If his friends Warren and Beth (I do not remember their surname) should read this, I hope they will contact me at [email protected]

Everyone---make sure you check out the hundreds of entries on George's Facebook page.

It was an honor to have gotten a chance to spend time with George. He is truly among the best of us. So thank you my much loved sister-in-law and all of her family for sharing yourselves and your family--extended and otherwise-- with us so that we could know you all and, in particular, such a giviing, loving and kind person as "Uncle Geeg." I am so sorry you do not have more time with him. And that the world has lost him.

George was interested in people. He would speak with a random checkout lady or waitress and find out where she was from or something and they would have a connection. He could talk to anyone and be comfortable and make them comfortable. He was the best listener and he always knew what to say in any situation. He was a gentle soul and so great to be with. I love you George.

He was a tireless worker for good. A true representative of Christ on earth. Rest in Peace George
