Janice and family, my condolonces. I'm sorry I didn't get to know George better, but I know Mom and Dad thougt so much of him as well as you and your family. Again I thank you for helping Mom in her last days/ Jim Pritchard

George was a special person. He was responsible for much of the success of WIPP in the early 1990s when George Dials was the DOE Manager. George Shoup was the level headed guy in the Carlsbad leadership group that wanted to get things done. He would always be the one who would work with me to see how we could get the city and DOE moving the same direction. One example is when the DOE Headquarters(HQ) was not happy with the money that was being put into the Carlsbad Environmental...
