Not sure what to say?

George, I miss you so much, and there are times that I need your advice! Thank you, God, for putting George in my parents' care!

I am so grateful that you will always be in my heart and mind and thankful for our lives on Folly and for being able to share the same parents. We were blessed - especially me for having you as family! I miss you!

My mother taught with Mr. Sineath at B.C. I had him for Geometry as a Freshman in '73-'74 and still remember how he made learning fun. I still use the cute phrases like "What's that up there in the road, A HEAD." And his grits stories were great....how weavels were trained to go pick them. He also taught us about "risk" by letting us roll dice or shoot a ball at the trash can to improve a test grade...odds were ALWAYS that our grade would be LOWERED, so he was making us think. I will truly miss you Mr. Sineath. You taught students more than just math. You taught us about life. I know that we will see you again in Heaven.

i am so sorry for your loss.. i wish i could have known Mr. Sineath longer.. thank you for sharing his life with me..you are in my prayers and thoughts

Claudia - I was so shocked yesterday afternoon when Russell called me and told me of George's passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. I've read many of the entries in the guest book and I know they have been comforting to you at this time to know how much others loved and cared for him also. I pray for God's peace and comfort for you; please know that I love you.
Your cousin, Carolyn S. Butler

Claudia,

I am so sorry for the loss of George. I so enjoyed visting with you, George, Diane,Ann and Judy when I came to West Columbia in 2006. George was such a brilliant man and enjoyed chatting about his navy days and politics. May God lift you up in the time of sorrow.

Your Cousin,
Russell Burnette, Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Mr. Sineath was truly an extraordinary person. I had the priviledge of having him as my geometry teacher as so many others, and I too have such fond memories of my classroom experience. It was a hard class, but Mr. Sineath brought joy and hope to the classroom. Even though I felt defeated many, many days; I always looked forward to seeing Mr. Sineath--he had such a warm and fun-loving spirit. From reading some of these postings, I've learned that Mr. Sineath liked nick-naming some of his...

On behalf of the President of the United States, a grateful nation and the United States Navy, thank you for you and your family's loyal and faithful service.
