George Slack

George was a smart, and always fun, electrical engineering classmate at UD. He was a couple years ahead of me, but we had a few classes together in undergrad EE, esp at old St Joe's Hall with Bernie Schmidt, a great EE professor. I wished I could remember which courses. George seldom socialized while at UD with me. But I talked him into joining me for a graduation beer at Brun's on Wilmington and Patterson. He had the pleasant personality of the nice picture with his obit, plus, at least...

My sincere condolences to Paula and George's two daughters. I had the pleasure of taking three furniture making classes with George. We quickly established an easy friendly rapport which I will remember fondly. I always enjoyed to the weekend class sessions...they gave me something to look forward to...whether it was the chance to learn new skills or to engage in pleasant thoughtful conversation. RIP, George.
