Not sure what to say?

Me and George were great buddies in school! I cant believe how far he has come from school. A firefighter for over 30 years, what an amazing man. Much condolences

My sincere sympathies to the Sopko family. I was a member of that Boy Scout Troop long ago. I'm now 71 yrs.old. Mr Sopko taught us numerous life lessons that were instrumental in our transition from boys to young men that would be remembered for a life time. Among were to "be prepared, faithful, honest and trustworthy". He was our hero - a fireman and our troop leader. Happy memories of our trips to East Harbor every summer - Jamboree's at the Brecksville Reservation. Of course the smile on...

Condolences to the Sopko Family.

My sincere condolence to the Sopko family. I first met George when I was 11. I was a part-time-after-school working kid who sold vegetables at the "Central Market" back in the early 60s. I really, really admired George. He was a fire fighter and himself working part-time at the market. I had the opportunity to connect with George years later after I joined CFD. I, now also retired from CFD, will always remember George: My hero, my inspirer and my friend.

Our hearts go out to you in your time of sorrow.

Irene and Family, I'll always remember George's great smile and personality. My dreepest synpathy to you at this sad time. Cherish the memories.
