Not sure what to say?

I will ever be indebted to George for having started me on my career path, and for being an encouraging and supportive mentor. His strength of values, knowledge and application of the law, and insight into the needs of the parties who came before him, will always be enduring legacies. He was an inspiration to all of us in Region 30, and we were proud to work with and for him. And, what a tennis partner! I will always miss you, dear friend .....

I choose to celebrate the life of George Squillacote. A friend, mentor and NLRB colleague who taught me about labor law, life and doing what's right. He could argue, laugh, be angry, sensitive, empathetic, irreverant, fatherly, challenging, upset, calm - and that would all be in one conversation. In short, George was passionate in everything he did. I am forever grateful that he took me under his wing.

I am sorry to hear of George's passing. I have fond memories of him in our badmitten leaque around 30 years ago. I enjoyed playing with him and talking to him He was a fine man.
