To The Staller Family
I was saddened to learn of your loss and extend to you my condolences. I had the good fortune to have worked with Professor Staller during the Central Europe Human Resource Education Initiative at the ILR School. He was a gracious, helpful, and wonderful scholar to our many Czech and Slovak students. I feel blessed to have known and worked with him. I fondly remember one blistering summer day arriving at his office with materials. What a delight when he opened...

We are with you at this sad time...

Please accept our most sincere condolences. We have just heard the sad news from Dagmar Sun.Will writew snail mail later. Madla (nee Stallerova ) and John Phillips

Robin and I are sorry to hear of your loss. George was the second person (after Eric Thorbecke) I met and conversed with when I arrived at Cornell in 1976. That early meeting over a beer was followed by many many more delightful end-of-the-day winding down discussions in his office. I will miss him. Our sympathies to the family.

To the Staller Family,

I was so sorry to hear of George's passing. George taught a course for us in The Johnson School, where I worked for fifty years. He often stopped by the office to say "hello". I always looked forward to his visits when he almost always brought me a little gift (which, of course, was never necessary, but always welcomed)! George was a wonderful man and I will always remember him fondly.

Please know he and all of you will be in my prayers.

Dorothy and family,

Malabika and I were so sad to get the news: our condolences. George was a wonderful colleague, and, as a naturally gifted lecturer, made outstanding contributions to our undergraduate program. We were delighted when he received the duly deserved recognitions for his inspiring commitment and enviable excellence.

i shall miss him acutely, particularly miss our chats in Uris during the weekends.

Randy and I (in Albany for the summer) are so sad to hear this news. George was a wonderful colleague and mentor to me when I first got to Cornell and his advice on how to cope with adversity was important to us throughout the years as we had to face our own son's illness and then death last summer. I am so happy that great honors came to George at Cornell before he died and that he had a chance to enjoy the first lecture given in his name

Paul. I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I wish to express my sympathies to the family. When I first came to Cornell as a new assistant professor, George was one of the people who really watched out for us. When he asked how things were going, we all knew that he really meant it, and that his door was always open for us, even if all we wanted to do was sit quietly for a moment and say nothing. He was one of the nicest people I have ever known. He will be missed.
