Not sure what to say?

I've known George since kindergarden at Elias Brookings School in Spfld. We had the pleasure of remaining friends throughout his life. He will be long remembered by me and my12 brothers and sisters.

May god continue to bless his family and all the many friends.

Dear Georgie Starrs' family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of George. He was too young!
We visited often, as kids in Boston and Springfield. We are first cousins, as his mother Nellie and my father Jim, were brother and sister. My brother and sisters join me in finding comfort in happy memories.
Our condolences to the whole family.
With love,

It has been quite a few years, and you probably don't even know us, but my dad, Ted Tryba knew Mr. Starr very well.
My Dad and Mom (Margaret, she has since passed) rented a room on Northampton Avenue in Springfield when they were first married in 1949. They said it was a really "swinging" place. Mr. Starr would entertain with his musical buddies. My Dad also remembers going to Mr. Starr's Mom and Pop store.

My memory is of Mr. Starr's mother kneeling (on floor, not on kneeler)...

Dear Starr Family, I am deeply sadden by the passing of George; I would see him almost every morning during my walks through Forest Park. He loved my dog and we would talk of years gone by every single day, he was a very warm and proud man, we lost a true gentleman and great friend. On behalf of the Thomas Family please accept our condolences.

So sorry to hear about your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

David, I remember your dad when he worked at the store his father owned. I also remember when you and my son Paul use to come over for a little meal. I will miss your dad. Al DiPietro, Bradenton FL.
