Dear Kathy:

We are so sad to hear of your loss. George will be sorely missed as our neighbor. I will not be able to see the balcony and not remember his wonderful comments on Lauren's sidewalk art and his teasing me about my stair climbing exercise. He was right that it helped wear out the knees. Laz, Lauren, and I send our deepest sympathy to all the family.

Dear Kathleen and family, Our deepest sympathies and condolences. I still have the two foot Ronald Reagan statue George took off his desk and gave me. I can't say that it made me a Reagan supporter but it has -- over many years -- reminded me of the enjoyable conversations I had with George.
