Not sure what to say?

George was a colleague and friend for 35 years, an age contemporary, an exceptionally warm human being with an amazing ability to see the humor in everything, and the most gifted psychiatrist I ever encountered -- an excellent therapist as well as so up on meds and their interactions that he literally saved two of my clients' lives and was extremely effective in finding protocols people who were med-averse but needed something would follow. His death is a tragic loss, for his family and his...

I met Dr. Stephens seven years ago after my grandmother passed. I hadn't slept in weeks and was in a terrible place. His calm, kind presence was such a balm at that time, as was his counsel over the years. Please accept my condolences on your loss.

Dear Mrs.Stephens, Sarah, Lucas and grandchildren,
My sincere condolences for your loss. When I received the certified letter , I got nervous. I had been his patient for over 27 years. He was kind, compassionate , honest, he was the voice of reason , the one I listened to, the one who never gave up on me, the one that said and did what was in my best interest to help me. I had just seen him for my regular visit. As always his last words were “Dawn you call me if you need me before our...

I'm very sorry for your loss. I will always remember George from my childhood. Wondering what he was building in his workshop and always being impressed by the Porsche. He's car is what led to my love of cars today. He will always be remembered and he had an impression on so many lives. May his memory always be with you.

Love,

Aaron and Rena

Dear Nancy,
As everyone, I was surprised to hear that George had passed away. There is no way to extend enough condolences to you and your family. George and I were Co-Captains of our football team at Marist and he was always bigger, much stronger and much smarter than the rest of us. Although we had lost touch through the years, we had briefly connected about our last reunion and our mutual interest in woodworking. George was a very special person and it was so inspiring to read some of...

Today I received a certified piece of mail from Dr. Stephens office. I was shocked and saddened to learn of his sudden recent death. I have known him for many years, in my office visits with him. I regard him as a true friend, in whom I confided many things. He helped me through some rough patches in my life, for which I will always be grateful. I will definitely miss him.

Nancy, Lucas, and Sarah,
We were saddened to hear of George’s passing. Our heartfelt condolences to you all. I can’t remember a time when he wasn’t a part of the neighborhood. It won’t be the same without his presence.

My heart is broken. Dr. Stephens was my calm in the storm of life. He was a compassionate Psychiatrist, spent time with his patients and never seemed to be rushed. The time you spent with him was sacred. He was honest, attentive and caring. If I am overwhelmed at his passing, I can't imagine the grief that his beloved family is experiencing. He spoke of his family with such a spark that I know you were all dearly loved. I will miss comparing notes on my husbands carpentry projects with his...
