Not sure what to say?

Dear Marilyn and Family, My deepest condolences to you and your family. David was a very special man. He was a wonderful boss, mentor, friend, and father figure. I was blessed to begin my professional career working for David, and while I was just at the start of my career, I knew my future bosses would have enormous shoes to fill as David was a one-of-a-kind treasure. I have so many wonderful memories of working with David at the American Volkssport Association (AVA) from business trips...

To all the Stewart families, rendering a genuine heartfelt condolence. David in his student days in Bay City was always soft spoken and mild mannered; he had oodles of friends and the utmost of respect from those of us that crossed paths with him. Will not be forgotten !! Booger Ham

David, It has been a long Journey. I have been grateful for every moment. Thank you for loving me so much. Thank you for letting me be at your side. Thank you for a being a wonderful Grandfather to my Daughter. Mr Stewart, I will take care of the Boss, Rest well. I know God Himself welcomed you into Heaven! Love you forever and always.

Aside from his many notable accomplishments, David was a proud Texan and was dedicated to the advancement of the Alamo and what it represented. While it saddens me, I also know he now joins members of his Texas family that have passed before him. Who...

Mrs. Stewart... the entire Holmes family is thinking of you and are grateful we spent time with Mr. Stewart at all the competitions you two shared with us. You both made your mark on many children at OLPH and we thank you.

Marilyn, I am sorry for your loss. The Stewarts have been and will continue to be in my prayers.

My dear David, beloved brother, you have been such a special part of my life. Since the very day you were born until you left us to go with God, you have always been in my heart and prayers. I will miss you greatly but I know you are in a better place now with our Mom and Dad and Scott and my Dave, and all the others who have gone before us, I remember the day you retired from the Army in a swirl of red , white and blue smoke and a parade in your honor.....a beautiful day, and now we will ...

I was sad to read of David's passing. My brother, Gerald (Lon) Draper was a good friend of David's when they lived in Bay City. David lived just a block from us and my brother and he spent many hours together. Blessings for his family as they find peace and comfort in wonderful memories.
