Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Stoughton family. George was a true gentleman and "lawyer's lawyer" who I had the pleasure of knowing through my partner John Calvocoressi.

So sorry to read about your dad's passing. As it was so soon after mine own father's, heaven must have been in need of two great gentlemen Judges.

You are in our thoughts and prayers,

Remember George from the Gentlemen's Ale and Quail Club. He was very much the gentleman. I enjoyed his company.

George Stoughton's memory lives on with us as a person dedicated to the Church, his family, and the court. May he rest in peace.

I worked for Mr. Stoughton in the early 70's in the Hartford Superior Court, State's Attorney's Office. What a real gentleman! He was a pleasure to work with, a very fair man and one who was highly respected by all. My sympathy to his family and friends in the passing of this truly wonderful man.

I am so sorry to read of Mr Stoughton's passing. I remember him most as my Sunday School teacher at St. James's so many years ago. He was the epitome of a gentleman and lived his life with honor and honesty - the definition of a "fine" man. My sympathy to all of you.
