George A. Strobel

I finally learned of George´s death and am so sorry. He fought a courageous battle with cancer. Tom thought the world of his friend, George and I have fond memories of time spent with him and you, Dorothy. I especially remember your wedding service. Peace to you and your family.

George, thank you. I am not sure if I ever said that plainly enough. For many fond memories. But, most importantly, for probably saving my life. It seems that a certain shrimp boat did not like either you or myself. For it nearly rolled onto you while in drydock. You barely escaped. Susan may God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I can say that I didn't know your Dad well. I met him with Sgt. Craven a few times. You are an example of his successful life accomplishments.
