Not sure what to say?

George and first I met as Assistant State Attorney recruits in Tampa. We quickly become close friends as one of our favorite things to do was to complain about our job and the Tampa summers while having a few beers. George was one of the funniest guys I ever knew. I still sometimes catch myself laughing at some of the things he would say and do. He was actually the one that convinced me to follow him to Orlando after I helped him move there from Tampa. After he moved back to Colorado...

I went to school with George in Chagrin. When I think of him it always puts a smile on my face. He was just so much fun! Since my maiden name was Savage, he was always behind me in line. Even with a few people between us, he would get me laughing. Of course, I would get in trouble and George would have that 'innocent angel" look on his face! I last saw him at our 25th reunion. Luckily, my husband had the pleasure of meeting him. I'm so glad I could share (with the man I'm in love...

GL was one of the funniest, sharpest people I've ever known. I remember growing up in Winnetka, where he'd set up a haunted house in a garage for the younger neighborhood kids. The highlight was blindfolding us and having us reach into a bowl of boiled eggs and water, which he then explained was eyeballs. He also did magic shows for our birthday parties. Or my summer visits to Chagrin Falls, where GL called his room “The Tropical,” and called Jim “the Butler.” I was always a bit in awe of GL....

George was a wonderful friend and colleague. I have never met anyone who can tell a story like George. Smart, fun and loved his family. George will be missed.

I only ever communicated with George via email and phone, but he was always so kind and took the time to make sure that I really understood. Thank you for your kindness and knowledge George.

George and I meet every other month at a local Starbucks and talked about title and our kids sports. He was a great friend and will be missed

I will always remember G.L. as a wonderful person who was kind and so funny. My dear friend Kathy and I grew up together. It was always fun at the Sutherland house, and G.L. always made us laugh. I know how much he was loved and will be missed. I am so sorry.

I will always remember George with such joy and laughter. Such a wonderful human being who was so warm and funny with such a humorous perspective on life. His stories and friendship will always make me smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you and know he was such a wonderful person who loved his family so much!

I knew George as a student in my 7th grade class. He was bright, sweet, and special. Sending all love and sympathy to his family as well as his dear sister, Kathy.
