Not sure what to say?

I met George over time when he would bring his RV in for parts or propane and I made custom window coverings for the (green) RV. He was so kind, and generous with compliments about those curtains. He offered to give me a job if I ever needed one, and later on I did. He even called me back from his hospital bed and told me to come see him (there!) sometime around 1980-81. George was a good person, he listened and truly cared about people, I am sure he is sorely missed by friends and family.

Mr and Mrs. Swindells are some of the nicest folks I have ever met along with the most caring. I worked for them years ago with Thomas Dufault who was their chef. They are, no doubt, one of the best couples I have ever met. Sincerely Joe Jennings, Dallas Texas

Dear Susie-
I just learned of "Mr. S" as Thomas and I called him, passing.
Just want you to know that you and Mr. S were always so wonderful to work for, I loved every single moment of every single dinner I served you and your friends!
You are both magnificent people and now some of the best memories I will ever have.
Much Love-
Joe Jennings

The staff and Board of Ryther would like to extend our condolences to the Swindells family. We will ever be grateful to George's support over the years of our work with children and youth who are often overlooked. He is a man who clearly made a positive difference in the world, especially to some of the most vulnerable among us - children.

Dear Susie -
As the former Head of School at St. Anthony on Maui, I know I speak for many that we will be forever grateful to George and his many kindnesses to a struggling little school. I enjoyed my many visits with him! He was such a gift to Catholic education and a true "angel" for so many of the students that benefitted from his generosity.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow! My prayers are with you,
with much aloha,
Betsey...

Sincere condolences to Susie and the family. My prayers are with you at this sad time. Our family loved George's wonderful enthusiasm for life .

With our love,
Diana and Brad Hill
