Not sure what to say?

I was just going through some old artwork of mine and found a collage that I made about 20 years ago. I looked through the various photos I had cutout and included, and there was one of Dean George Tade. I googled his name and leave this message now in his memory. I took two graduate speech communication classes from Dean Tade when I was a masters student, 1978-80. He was so kind and helpful to me, respectful of my mind and direct with no strange power trips like a few other profs had at...

Dean Tade was one in a million at TCU. I only hold fond memories of the time he hired me and nurtured me while our Dean. He will be greatly missed.

Dr. Tade was a friend of my Mother, Phyllis Conley. I heard many wonderful things about him from her. My condolences to his family. I know he will be greatly missed and that your sorrow is deep.

I know without a doubt that Dr. Tade influenced me more than any other faculty in Speech Communication at TCU. I was a student of his in the '60s. He was very encouraging and coached me individually for many forensic speech events held in other states. He helped me become the artist and teacher of Speech Communication that I am today. I am so very grateful for all his help, kindness, and patience. A good person, a good teacher. His family has my deepest sympathy.

I will never forget the support that Dean Tade showed for all of his Fine Arts Students. He truly listened to us whenever we had questions or problems that needed to be addressed and I will always be grateful to him for this. More importantly, he epitomized what a fine, kind human being should be.

George was a true Christian a good man and a good example to me. I appreciated his presence in my world.

Dr.Tade had a great impact on all of us who were lucky enough to be his students.I will never forget his patience, kindness, and concern. He set an example for all of us to follow.

I will always cherish the memory of Dr. George Tade, who actually "hired" me to TCU, some 30 full years ago, now. He was truly a gentlemen, a scholar, and a good Dean of Fine Arts, truly.

We extrend our love and sympathy to all the family.
